Lukoil sponsors children’s figure skating competition; honors young Georgian Olympian
Lukoil together with the Georgian Figure Skating Center held a figure skating competition for children on April 14. Earlier that day, children competed for prizes in different categories, and then pupils of the center performed in a special gala. The competition was closed with an awarding ceremony. The general director of Lukoil Georgia Zaza KatamadZe announces at the event that he has decided to honor 16 year-old Georgian Olympic Figure skater Elene Gedevanishvili with a money award, when she comes to Tbilisi in May.
According to Lukoil, that, by show that everyone has high expectations for this young sportswoman and that encouragement is very important for her to be able to fulfill her potential and to reach the highest places at international competitions. The figure skating competition was yet another event which celebrates Lukoil’s 15th anniversary.
